Paul Jones has been appointed sales manager at Coventry-based double glazing company U-fit.co.uk.
The 34-year-old from Nuneaton, Warwickshire, is spearheading the ambitious challenge to double sales of the company’s ‘do it yourself’ upvc conservatories, windows and doors in the next 12 months.
U-fit, based in Boston Place, Holbrooks, is aiming to increase its £3.2m turnover by more than half by April 2005.
Paul, whose background is in retail management, was headhunted by the company from his former role as a sales manager at a Birmingham-based vending machine distributor. He impressed U-fit's managing director John Armstrong after clinching a deal to provide five vending machines at the U-fit offices.
He said: “I am delighted to be taking on such an ambitious and exciting challenge. I’m looking forward to driving U-fit’s sales team forward and boosting the company’s turnover year on year.”
U-fit.co.uk’s managing director John Armstrong added: “Paul’s expertise is a fantastic addition to our team and will serve to increase our position as a market leader in do-it-yourself conservatories.”
