| Press Release
28th February 2004 Charities nationwide could experience a leap in revenue, thanks to a pioneering website initiative from a Coventry company. U-fit.co.uk, based in Boston Place, Holbrooks, is urging fundraising groups to join its Charities Affiliation Scheme. The firm, which produces ‘do-it-yourself’ Upvc conservatories, windows and doors to householders across the UK, has developed new website software enabling charities to raise more money at no extra cost or time to themselves. It allows visitors to a charity’s website to click through to U-fit’s website, and if that visitor then buys or orders U-fit products, the charity could be rewarded with up to £100 on each referral. Charities will be able to track exactly how much website traffic they refer to U-fit, along with the number of quotations and orders made by those visitors. John Armstrong, U-fit’s managing director, said it was the perfect way for its customers to support their favourite charities. He said: “Charities and fundraising groups put in extreme amounts of time and effort to raise money and our affiliation scheme will support their hard work, but won’t be a burden, as no extra work is required. Website visitors just need to click on an internet link.” “We are always looking at new ways to support charities and this scheme will enable us to work together with these organisations and their customers to the benefit of everyone. We are confident that this exciting new venture will achieve measurable benefits for charities’ revenue.”
